History of the Emerald Coast Comets

The Emerald Coast Comets organization is the oldest Girls Softball organization in Northwest Florida and was in 1998. In the past ten years hundreds of girls along the Emerald Coast of Florida and South Alabama Area have been a part of the Comets organization. We currently have players from Panama City Beach to Mobile, AL

Emerald Coast Comets, Inc provides an organization that will enable girls to start playing travel ball at an early age and continue through the organization playing competitive fastpitch softball right into their college years. Our ultimate organizational goals for the players is to prepare them  fundamentally for high school and college fastpitch softball. while having fun and meeting some lifelong  friends along the way.   Our purpose is to create a girls fastpitch softball organization that will further the talents and dreams of our young ladies by learning to play at a higher level of competition. The organization is committed to creating an environment where each girl can reach her greatest athletic ability. We stress to our players to remember that we are the Emerald Coast Comets and in or out of uniform you should represent the organization, community, and our sponsors with sportsmanship and pride.
